3G Technology and Modem
Nowadays, handphone is become general trend in society. But for lovers of technology, Hand Phone model is not only the main reason to have Hand Phone. How is Hand Phone's ability to work, and how much Hand Phone can be a solution of communication which is the main reason for technology lovers.
One of the trends that are infecting the world's telecommunications is 3G. Since the communication specialist has to solve a problem or wireless LAN, the development of technology has been sharp slide to the 3G (Do not correct, 4g also touchable ... but we will only discuss the 3G). 3G technology is the development of wireless phone (wireless) which is the abbreviation of the English term "Third Generation Technology" (third-generation technology).
There is also the development of wireless technology briefly as follows:
1. First generation: analog, low-speed (low-speed), enough to vote. Example: NMT (Nordic Mobile Telephone) and AMPS (Analog Mobile Phone System)
2. Second-generation: digital, low-speed - medium. Example: GSM and CDMA2000 1xRTT

Between second-generation and generation-3, often inserted Generation 2.5, which is digital, medium-speed (up to 150 Kbps). Technology incoming 2.5 G is a category-based data services such as GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) & EDGE (Enhance Data rate for GSM Evolution) in the GSM domain and PDN (Packet Data Network) in the CDMA domain.

1. 3G services can not be without any coverage of the 3G service operator. Only buy a 3G handset, it does not mean that 3G services can be enjoyed. Handset can automatically switch to a 3G network when you, the customer does not receive 3G coverage. So when someone is being moved and use the video call service, and then forced to move to the 2G network, the video call service will drop out.
2. 3G services are on the 1900 Mhz frequency. ITU-T is defined for the 3G services on the GSM 1900 Mhz frequency band with a width of 60 Mhz. However, in general, based on CDMA2000 technology uses spectrum in the frequency of 800 Mhz, or commonly known as the spectrum PCS (Personal Communication System).
As a smart solution for 3G technology, you can use the electronic tools called 3G Modem. There are different types of 3G modem in the market, depending on the use you need. 3G Modem, will offer a variety of benefits that does not lose the use of Hand Phone. Because, in general, the device is connected to your PC or Notebook, you can freely work with the modem. I use 3G as a modem AirCard875 me. Features of this modem are as follows:
1. Wireless data transfer at speeds above 3.6 Mbps on HSDPA Network
2. The ability of the antenna is very high in difficult locations (in the concrete building)
3. Ability transfer data and voice simultaneously at the same time.
4. Support UMTS and HSDPA network in 2100, 1900, 850 Mhz
5. OS support Windows Vista, XP, 2000
6. Facilities upgrade software
