Selling your eBook means you need to give your customers a document file that can be opened by your customers. The format is important because if you choose the wrong format then your customer will have difficulty to open your product. Because of that, you need to choose your format wisely.

No matter what your eBook will be used for, keep it compiled in PDF format. Don't ever sell your eBook in EXE programs! Find a PDF converter tool and convert every information products you created in PDF format before you sell it.

PDF is the best selling info product format in several areas of the internet marketplace. Many computer users also prefer PDF more than EXE formatted eBooks for many reasons.

Some of the reasons why many users don't buy EXE formatted eBook are : EXE program sometimes becomes a suspicion of computer virus. According to the price, PDF have more value than EXE programs. Computer users prefer to see an eBooks with a lot of pages visible. When you opened a PDF format eBook, the page thumbnails will be listed on the left side.

Another reasons are, to be able to create your eBook in EXE format, you need to have an HTML knowledge and will required more work than compiled it into PDF format. Using a PDF converter tool, you just need to create your eBook using Microsoft Word and then compiled it using a third party program. Sometimes, some of your customers are Machintosh users and Mac users cannot open an EXE programs. While there are not many Machintosh users in the internet marketplace, but you should not exclude these minority users from being your potential customers as some of them do have great buying power.

Given the many reasons, it would be better if you sell your eBook in PDF format. There are many PDF converter programs in the internet marketplace. Some are cheap and worthed to buy. If you prefer to use a free converter, then you can use OpenOffice.org software. It is the free version of Microsoft Word and you can convert your documents to PDF format without using third party program.

  1. I have a macbook and I record through the iSight camera all the time! Open iMovie and create a new project. Once the program is open, click on CLIPS on the bottom right hand side of the app. Once you have done that, move the icon on the bottom the the creen from SCISSORS to the CAMERA looking thing. Once you have done that, the camera activates itself and you will see yourself on the screen. Click RECORD WITH ISIGHT. Don't ya love it!! From there you can edit the clip! Good Luck!

  2. iPods can only be formated to one type of computer. Have your teacher email you the songs or burn to a disc. Or use a flash drive.

The actual look of icons, animations, etc. are what the graphic artists create. The different behaviors based on events (click, double-click, mouse-over, etc.) are what the programmer adds to the application or operating system.

    Some people can be both a programmer and a graphic artist. Personally, I'm only amateur at creating actual graphics.

  6. You might be trying to execute a program made to run only on Windows, so you can either download similar Mac applications or install a Windows flavor in a virtual machine like Parallels, and thus run there the applications you can't on your Apple.

  7. After inserting the CD in the Mac, restart, holding down the C key. You can release the C key when you hear a lot of activity coming from the CD drive, as that will indicate that the Mac is accessing the CD for the operating system, as opposed to starting from the hard drive.
