Hello..I have some troubles with the conversion of movie to iPhone. I bought an iPhone last week and yesterday when I put a movie onto iPhone and click play, the phone give me a warning that he cannot play video in that format. I think I need to convert the movies to iPhone supported format first. So how can I deal with the conversion? Can any one recommend a powerful and free converter for me ?

As of right now, you cannot forward text messages on the Iphone. It's one of my biggest complaints about the iphone, next to the fact you can't send or receive multi media messages.
Hopefully Apple will release an update that will allow us to do more with text messaging on the Iphone.

Here are a couple of links to look at:
http://gizmodo.com/5015052/iphone-3g-complete-coverage
and
http://apple.com/iphone
Basically this new version has faster internet, GPS navigation and ability to download(buy) applications such as games.
The Phone will cost $199 for 8GB $299 for 16GB. Then you will have to buy a voice plan for at least $39.99/month along with a Data plan for $30/month for unlimited web surfing, then a text messaging plan for $5-$15/month.
Expect to pay $80+/month for the full service plan. I would expect AT&T will let you drop the data plan and just use this as a sweet touch screen phone.
The phone has a very smooth UI which is fun to use, but lacks some basic features that might be very important for some. For example, it doesn't have picture messaging which is very important for some people but not for others. There might be an application that someone will create to accomplish this, but you will likely have to pay for it.
Take a look at the links above, there is a great deal of information out there. I will likely buy the 3G iPhone when it comes out, but might wait to see if there are some applications to buy that will fill in the missing pieces first.
Good luck with your decision.

So far, I adore this phone. The look, feel, ease of use is wonderful. I am also amazed at the value of this phone; after rebates, the final price with tax is $148.73. The Everything Plans start at 69.99, which is what I have. Since most of the people I know are on Sprint, the "Sprint to Sprint" covers most of my minutes so I did not need unlimited talk. On all Everything Plans, text, web, navagation, ect are unlimited.
The visual voicemail and threaded text messages are great. I also use Sprint TV when I am at the gym and I love how it works on this phone, much nicer than on my previous one. I do however wish the calendar had a countdown clock, as my old Samsung m610 did, but that a small thing and everything else overshadows this. Amazingly, when I did the "Web Sync" to get the music I have purchased from the Sprint store (I usually load my own, but I occasionally buy when I'm on the go) for my last phone, it not only re-loaded the those songs, but included ALL songs ever bought with my phone number from even 2 phones ago…
Great phone and since iPhone doesn't have a camcorder, even on the newer one to be released next month, the Instinct is by far the better choice for me. I use the camcorder a lot. It took a little while to figure out how to do long form video (I NEVER read the book, who does?) but the quality is great.
The memory IS expandalbe to 8 GB and comes with two battteries. Even on the new iPhone the battery is not replacable and this remains an issue for many users.
I have seen reviews where people complain of not be able to do certain things (ex: someone unable to change background thought it wasn't option, when it fact you can), I find that so far I can do everything that my last phone did, and then some. It's just a matter of taking the time to find a way, or going through the manual. When I find out something new, it's great. I'm sure there's more that I don't know still.
I am very please with this phone.

iPhone can view most websites. It is probably the best mobile internet device out there simply because you can view the whole webpage and not a "watered down" version. Safari does not support JAVA and flash yet, but it is expected within the next few months. Nothing sure, yet. You cannot view YouTube's website's videos, but you can use the YouTube application on iPhone to view most videos out there on YouTube. Quicktime is basically the only file format that is able to be viewed on the iPhone. Using AT&T EDGE, loading a page takes a few seconds to minutes to load, depending on the site. Using Wi-Fi is very fast depending on your access point. Although the iPhone lacks flash and JAVA, it is still 100% worth it!

The refurbished iPhone is just an iphone that some other person had shipped in because of difficulties…..so apple ships that person a new one, keeps the broken one, fixes the broken one and then resells it for a fraction of the price. I think they put a new body on it if its damaged but not sure.

no you cant i had the same issue because i have my iphone thru tmobile but when i had to take it back to tghe apple store i thought i could use my mothers att sim card but the iphone is different because the sim has to be an att sim specially made for the iphone but what you can do is what most people have done who have iphones but not att service go to ziphone.org and yopu can jailbreak and activate the phone , then you can use the phone and wifi and everything else the phone does with any sim you have

Copy the image you want into My Photos in My Documents. Then simply sync, and it will copy the images into Photos then Photo Library. You can then assign the image as a wallpaper. Good luck!

Point 2: The Pre took a photo of a light! The file size, being a photo of very little color or detail, is going to be far smaller than a photo of someone. Then there’s image size limits that can be specified, what were these on both devices at the time? Again using my iPhone 2G it takes 18 seconds for the entire process, on EDGE!
Lastly the time taken from taking the photo through to sending it was one third of the time on the 3GS compared to the Pre, iPhones far more intuitive interface

This test isn’t a “real world” test at all and misrepresents actual abilities. I would have expected far more from CNET Asia!
Point 1: The internet page test is “different carriers”. Carriers provide totally different bandwidths. Just on EDGE I can swap between our 2 main Carriers and the difference is huge. 62kbps on one and 135kbps on the other, that’s faster than some 3G services! The only way to perform this test is with the same carrier.

Iphone is faster but at&nt is not. The pre Can’t be that good because of lack of thinking power the phone has and lack of apps. but Yeah I wish I could go to verizon with my Iphone but its worth having a iphone over verizon.
